Working Smarter for Better Outcomes

Our annual LifeHealthcare company conference was a powerful moment for our teams across Australia and New Zealand to come together, to pause, reflect on our achievements, and look ahead with fresh focus. Over a few incredible days, from sales to warehouse, quality to clinical, we connected, learned, and inspired each other to push forward with renewed energy and purpose.

This year’s theme, LifeCode, reflects our commitment to working smarter for better outcomes. It challenges us to decode the way we operate, innovate, and collaborate, making every action count towards improving healthcare delivery and patient lives. LifeCode isn’t just a theme; it’s a mindset that will guide us as we face the opportunities and challenges ahead.

Beyond collaboration in our daily roles, LifeCode was a unique opportunity to strengthen connections across departments and regions, building relationships that foster teamwork and drive collective success.

First off, education took centre stage with our product fair, where teams explored the latest innovations and deepened their knowledge of the solutions we bring to the healthcare sector. This hands-on experience empowered everyone across the business with insights that reinforce our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

The product fair also highlighted cross-collaboration, offering an exciting chance to learn about our fellow EBOS MedTech companies, Australian Biotechnologies and Cryomed. These connections enrich our collective expertise and open doors to new opportunities across our business.

We began Saturday morning with a plenary session, during which our business leaders reflected on what we’ve achieved, reviewed areas for improvement, and shared priorities for the year ahead. This alignment ensured that everyone across the business knows what they are working towards and why.

I want everyone to leave today really understanding what we're trying to drive as an organisation going forward. 'cause the sky's the limit in terms of what we can achieve

Paul Petherbridge, CEO, LifeHealthcare

We were honoured to welcome guest speaker Sam Bloom, whose story reminded us all of the power of resilience and the importance of perspective. Sam’s journey resonated deeply with our purpose and reinforced why the work we do matters so much, as it often improves lives in the face of great challenges.

Our teams also participated in a high-energy team challenge, which raised funds for our charity partners and fostered new connections across teams. Every employee had the opportunity to assemble care packs for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House Westmead, as well as for families supporting children undergoing treatment at nearby hospitals.

A huge thank you to our freight partners, TSS, who helped bring this initiative to life by delivering 350 care packs to the Ronald McDonald House Westmead. Your support helped us extend care beyond the conference walls. We also want to thank Matthew Mifsud from RMHC Westmead for joining us on Saturday and sharing the Ronald McDonald House's story.

We wrapped it all up by recognising and celebrating our people. Our gala awards evening was the perfect occasion to honour the dedication, passion, and achievements of individuals and teams across LifeHealthcare. Congratulations to all the award winners and runner ups.

As we close the chapter on LifeCode 2025, the inspiration, learning, and connections forged during the conference will continue to guide us throughout the year. Together, we are working smarter, stronger, and more united than ever to deliver on our promise, making life better for both healthcare professionals and patients.
